Kathy Spooner just sent this email:

Hi all, Kris came out of the coma Friday afternoon and is communicating though still confused at times. They have not figured out the cause and are still fighting multiple infections and flucuating blood sugar levels and blood pressure. Will keep in touch, her sister kathy

Kathy Spooner, Kris's sister, just sent an email out about her condition. I'm afraid it isn't good.

Hi, for those of you wondering why you haven't heard from Kristeen I afraid I have sad tidings. Saturday morning the nurses called from the facility she has been at since January. Her blood sugar and blood pressure were both low and would not come up with medication so they were calling the paramedics for transport to the hospital. She had been having problems for a couple of days and very lethargic. Friday night when I left she said she hadn't felt good all day but was confused enough not to be specific with thew reason. Since Saturday morning she has been only responding to painful stimuli. They have run multiple tests, cultures and CT scans and have found no medical/physical reason for the "coma" She is breathing with assistance and her blood pressure sometimes drops but comes back with medication. As for now I keep trying for a response but nothing has worked. in my opinion she has just given up. I saw a change in her starting last month when they informed us they were looking for another place for her since she did not require any of their particular services any longer and was refusing to get out of bed at all. Someone mentioned nursing home and that was not a place she wanted to go.
I would appreciate you passing this new alon to anyone you may think would be interested. I will let you know is her status changes in any way.
Her sister, Kathy

I've got a serious proposition to make.

The last time any noise was made about this, the members of FireRock Wing wanted to regroup. Natali and B'relan were supposed to seriously consider this.

What I want to know is, are we going to do it? And, if we do it, how are we going to do it?

I'm definitely willing to work on this storyline. Kaki, Thom, Jenn, Erin? Anybody else? :)

Well, it's been DONE a good long while (Sorry everyone! COMPLETELY my fault), I just haven't gotten my bum in gear and put it out. Expect it sometime in the next month or so.

Also, anyone want to work on something? I'm having a hard time getting motivated by myself to write. I'd really like to do something with the dragon plague plot...

Hey, what a delightful story. My hat is off to some really good and imaginative writing; done with a lovely humorous touch. Well done. A little salsa is good, but mercy!

Quoting Xanath who replied to me ..

::puts head on desk and laughs::

I'm busy flipping through my past entries, muttering, "What chilling experience?? Which one? Arrgh!" And then I finished your post, and realized what you meant.

laughing is good for the heart :)

Well yes, I've a penchant for placing the odd semingly obtuse remark in my fiction, ones which get revealed elsewhere, or even in a second reading.

Like this. It may not mean anything now; but ... Aerden told me that her mindhealer persona is somewhat of an expert in handwriting analysis. ;D
